Question
I'll be 30 years old, and I'm starting to feel down on myself and stagnant. I'm in serious debt. I'm confused and can't make a choice. I'm even tempted to work in the sex industry just to pay off my debts. The problem is it may haunt me down the road. Life has been a constant struggle for me. What is preventing me from reach my incredible potential? I don't know whether to pursue singing, dance, or acting. I keep wishing away time too often.
Answer
Your energy certainly moves in and out of balance. And, your debt is really pulling you down - taking more energy than you may imagine. You have a great sense of self, and I, too, believe that working in the sex industry would create serious self-esteem issues down the road. But, as you already know, it's not time to give up. You're still so vibrant and have much to experience (not because of your age, but because of your life plan). You are your own worst enemy. As soon as you get close to balance, you back away. You must set healthy priorities now. First, start with the "heavy" things: money, physical health, personal boundaries. You must make a budget and stick to it, no question. Then, you can work your way into the lighter energy and decide what kind of job you wish and how best to build your performance career. Go back to the basics for now.
