Question
I've met five or six men through the Internet. I've sent them photos, and we've talked somewhat extensively by phone. I am as straightforward as possible, but when we meet in person everything changes. One said I was "too beautiful" and another said "too much of a tornado..." Is this about me or just the way things go?
Answer
So many people today are seeking romance on the Internet, and I believe it's an unhealthy practice causing much disappointment and frustration. Can you read energy through words on a computer monitor? Yes (I do it everyday), but can you create a base for a healthy relationship? Rarely. Human beings tend to create fantasy quite easily - an ability that helps us with the difficult lessons we have to learn. Unfortunately for some, the Internet provides a safe place for play, a place where mystery can surround every word, and when the reality of the whole person emerges, it can be difficult to embrace. So, is it you? No, I believe it's just the way things are, and I suggest you stop trying to meet partners via email and focus on more realistic scenarios. Join clubs, go hiking with friends, and have enough faith in yourself to know that a compatible partner will be drawn to you. You have much to offer - maybe a little patience is in order.

My sister called and said she had heard my son was trying to reach me. He passed away 1 1/2 years ago. What should I do?
Answer
Do you know where you sister heard this? I would be interested to know. I don't sense any spirit trying to reach you, but it can, of course, happen. To answer your question, there is nothing specific you should do. You are already open to his communication should it be the right time. Just keep yourself balanced and calm, and if there is a message, you will definitely receive it. Just make sure not to try too hard or worry about doing something to block it.
