Question
From time to time over the past 20 years, I have been visited by a small dark figure. It's always in my bedroom and seems to want to be seen, but I can never see any facial features. I saw this much more when I was younger, and it's reappeared after eight years. I can always "feel" its presence and it wakes me up. I have an uneasy feeling (of course). Should I tell it to leave or something?
Answer
There is no need to tell this being to leave - it will do so on its own. I'm glad you're not afraid of it - it certainly means no harm. I, too, have seen a faceless dark figure which seems male to me. It always occurs right before an important life event (both good and not-so-good) so you may wish to be prepared for some major change. Relax and continue to recognize your messenger and see if anything appears to you either in a dream state or an awakened state during the night. Above all, don't let it disturb your sleep - you are in control.
