Question
I listened to you on the radio and was fascinated. I was impressed by your response when I mentioned going back to school. You said I was confused (very true!) and that I would be able to handle it (I was worried I'd get in over my head!). My other concern is how will going back to school affect my social life, including dating.
Answer
Your energy is very friendly and open, so socializing is not an important issue in your growth. Actually you may need to focus less on that part of your life and more on your academic pursuits. You will never lack for company, and the dates will be there often enough. You are prepared to grow, to mature, very quickly. If you find yourself being a bit of a klutz, bumping into the furniture, etc., don't worry about it, that phase will pass quickly. You're learning how to shift from the left brain to the right brain - an exciting part of your spiritual growth. Listen to your intuition and learn to recognize how it feels to be well grounded and centered. Find that balanced, calm feeling when all is well in your world. You will notice that extra physical activity will be helpful as you move through this exciting time of personal growth.
Question
Over the years I have spent thousands on psychics, astrologers, tarot readings, etc. They all have said the same thing: love and a lot of money was coming my way soon. The only thing that happens is things get worse. I can't even pay my rent, much less buy food for me and my son. What should I do?
Answer
So many people have spent their life savings on "psychics" or others who offer advice. I'm sorry you've had such unfortunate experiences. As you have learned, money rarely just comes your way. I attempt to offer real-life suggestions dealing with the now, not the tomorrow. All our power is in the present moment, and that is where we build our fruitful lives. You are strong, but very tired. Re-energize yourself with a new job, new living arrangements, new energy patterns. You need to let go of old habits and trust yourself. Fresh new ideas will help you get your energy back and be a good example for your son. Try to change your perception of life's happenings as well. Find time each day for deep breathing exercises - just three or four breaths will help if you release worry through your breath. Believe it or not these few ideas and exercises can help you begin to create a better life.
