Question
My husband and I are considering starting a new company, and I'd like your opinion. We are in the research/marketing stages now. Is this a good time to consider this new venture? Our marriage feels fairly secure, but I guess I need to know that we can work together. Is there an underlying spiritual message?
Answer
Our spiritual lives are always at the center of everything we do. So, of course, this will be a spiritual endeavor for you and your husband. I feel it is imperative that this new project receive equal input. Try individually writing suggestions, feelings, anything regarding the business, and then share the information. You both need plenty of time to simply sit and discuss all the variables. I do believe this is a good time for you both, but you must move slowly and carefully into this new lifestyle. It would be a lifestyle change for the better and many healthy lessons can evolve from the business. You two are quite creative and inspirational - make certain to acknowledge that in one another as you go into this exciting project. I wish you both much success.

My mother died in August of this year. I continue to have these dreams of her being taken from the funeral home and put into the hearse. There is never any communication. This worries me. What do these recurring dreams mean?
Answer
You are wise to heed recurring dreams. They are a wonderful tool for growth and always deserve attention. Many times there is no communication in these kinds of dreams. Their meaning is symbolic and intuitive, and they will usually stop when you have understood the underlying emotional message. My sense is that they are simply reminding you to continue the release process, saying “Yes, she is gone now” and allowing you to accept that. Be patient with yourself and your dreams, and they will slowly dissipate. There is nothing to be concerned about since this is a natural part of the process for you. Just be kind to yourself and allow your dreams to be a positive motivation for continued emotional balance. Keeping a Dream Log can certainly aid you in organizing your dream information. Dreams have been unusually active for many people recently, and I feel that your mother’s death has certainly opened many doors through which you can access healthy information for personal growth.
