Question
Why is it that men keep telling me I'm a great catch and nobody catches me? I can't seem to get close enough to any man that I date. What can I do?
Answer
Along with many frustrations, relationships offer us many opportunities for growth. Relationship energy is heavy and slow moving and demands much attention - it's supposed to be that way. The key to finding and keeping that healthy, long-term interaction with another person is to completely understand where you are on your spiritual path and make certain the other person is in a compatible space. Timing is the number one thing. If you are ready to settle down with one person, don't settle for the first person or the person closest to you. Be very patient and be very aware of your relationships. If you can find someone who is traveling the same path, or at least a similar one, you'll be on the right track. For you personally, the time is not right for entering into a permanent relationship. Try to enjoy your freedom and quiet times alone for now.
