Question
I live in Melbourne, Australia, and we've had a very wet spell. My question is about how the weather affects us. I seem to be depressed and slow whenever it rains. Cloudy days don't seem to do that to me - just actual rain. It can't be my imagination because I've watched this process for quite a while now, and every time it rains for more than a few minutes, I start feeling down. What can I do? Should this be happening?
Answer
Your reaction to a rainy day isn't unusual. Rain (water in general) provokes emotions. If you are the least bit out of balance emotionally, rain will bring those emotions to the surface. Why? That's hard to say other than to mention that rain touches your energy through the blue/green centers and your emotional self is very active there. Your psychic abilities are enhanced by water and rainy days too, and that in itself my upset your normal energy flow. I find my psychic self feeling highly motivated when it rains. So, what can you do about it? The first thing you've already done - be aware that it is happening. Next, simply create the intention of enjoying your rainy days and before long, your emotional self will relax a bit when it rains. This can be a long process, so don't rush yourself. Just know that you can make rainy days more enjoyable.
