Question
My cat has been missing for several weeks now, and I'm just in a panic. I've done everything I can think of, and she still hasn't come home. Can you help?
Answer
Having a missing animal is an unbelievable painful experience (as you know). And, it's an experience that demands that you practice your own level of animal communication. First of all, remember that animals are quite telepathic (picking up the pictures in your mind) so you need to picture your cat safely returning home instead of being dead on the side of the road. "See" your cat eating her food, napping in her favorite spot, etc. as often as you can. You've probably done all the necessary things like: call your local animal shelter; call the local vets; put up flyers; talk to the neighbors; drive or walk around your neighborhood calling her name; put food and fresh water outside the door daily; maybe even put her favorite bed outside for a few minutes (bringing it in so other animals don't change the smell). So make sure all these things are done and continue to create pictures in your mind of her coming home. In my experience, about 60% of missing cats return home - some after many weeks or even months, so don't give up hope.
